School Highlight – 3/14/2025

Continued Celebrating Our School Community

As we continue chugging along through our first year as a school community, we are reminded of the words of A.A. Milne: “The things that make me different are the things that make me ME!” Each student, teacher, and staff member brings something special to our school, and it is these differences that make our community so strong. Whether it’s a love for reading, a passion for problem-solving, an artistic eye, or a kind heart, every individual contributes in a unique way.

Just as Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends each have their own quirks and strengths, our school thrives because of the many perspectives, talents, and backgrounds that come together each day. We continue to encourage our students to embrace what makes them unique and to celebrate the differences they see in others. Our classrooms are places where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is valued, and kindness is the foundation of all we do through our virtues.

As we continue to grow together, let’s remember that it is not about being the same, but about learning from one another and appreciating the gifts each person brings. We are building a culture where every student feels seen, heard, and valued—where they can confidently say, “The things that make me different are the things that make me ME!” Thank you for being a part of our school family, and for helping us create a place where everyone belongs.

Here’s to a continued first year filled with learning, growth, and celebration of all the things that make us who we are!
